Location Used: This Chrome Roll Retrofit Kit is desgined to eliminate the tension side "variator" to control film tension. All the necessary components are included in this kit to allow field installation. The Servo drive and motor are pre-programmed and tested.
The system utilizes feedback from a encoder mounted to the main drive shaft of the machine. The Front Chrome Roll then electronically gears to the Rear Chrome Roll. Operators then adjust the servo for slightly more or less speed, to achieve the desired film tension.
